Stretch & Mobility Flow Certification Training
This certification training will focus on Fearvana Yoga’s signature class designed to focus on 4 main tenants:
flexibility,
mobility,
range of motion,
lengthening
Still taught in the Vinyasa style of yoga, where each posed is seamlessly linked to the next pose with breath focus, this class effectively removes poses and sequences primary focused on strength building, endurance, stamina, and transition speed.
This class is suitable for yoga teachers and those wanting to learn a new method which isn’t power yoga, nor is it yin, or restorative.
With in-depth focus on physiology, this class was meticulously designed for populations that are primarily office workers or sedentary for majority of the day, those that experience extreme tightness from repetitive or strength building activities (walking, running or weight lifting), aging populations, injured or recovering, post physical therapy, and those that experience regular stiffness from their day to day and simply need to learn how to gain mobility and flexibility and nothing else.
In a nutshell, this class excludes sun salutations, arm balances, inversions, and even standing balance poses that don’t speak to the four main tenants listed above.
Attendees will learn the yoga physiology behind this class, but also how to:
Teach it
Practice it
Create Logical Sequencing
Learn the language in effectively teaching it
How to scale the difficulty of the class based on attendees
Stretch and Mobility has been growing in popularity to meet a certain demographic who are not quite ready for endless chatarangas and also need more movement above restorative and yin style classes.
This 30 Hour certification training will count towards continuing education and can be incorporated into any yoga class as a warm up, cool down, but also in children’s classes, corporate settings, senior centers, and any demographic since stretching and mobility is always recommended and healthy to incorporate in daily routines.
